Google Business Profile — check this yourself
We can’t reliably check your Google Business Profile from here (it needs Google’s own data), so we won’t pretend to. But for a local business it’s often the single biggest factor in getting found — it’s what puts you in the map and the panel on the right of Google results.
Why it matters
Most “near me” searches never reach a website. They’re answered by the map pack: three businesses with ratings, hours and a phone number. If you’re not there, a competitor is getting that call.
How to check it
Search your business name on Google. If a panel appears on the right with your details, you have a profile — make sure it’s claimed (look for “Own this business?”). If nothing appears, you don’t have one yet.
How to fix it
Go to google.com/business, add or claim your listing, and verify it. Then fill in every field: hours, service area, photos, and services. Complete profiles rank higher and get more calls.
How this score is worked out
We score out of 100, weighted by real-world impact for a local business — not by how many checks there are. Missing structured data hurts you far more than a slightly long title, so it’s worth more points. Here’s every check and its weight:
We only report things that can be checked from your page. We don’t estimate backlinks, “domain authority” or keyword rankings — those need paid data, and a made-up number would be worse than none.
